This policy explains what Fylevix AnyConverter handles on your device and what information may be processed by Google advertising services when ads are enabled.

1. The short version

Fylevix AnyConverter is designed to convert selected files locally on your Android device. The app does not send the contents of your selected files to Fylevix servers. You do not need an account to use local conversion.

Local conversion is the default. Advertising is optional and is not required to process a file. The release build keeps ads disabled until its consent and privacy configuration is ready.

2. Files and information stored on your device

When you choose a file, Android grants the app access to that item. The app reads it to identify or convert its format, and writes the result to app storage or to a destination you choose.

  • Conversion history: job status, selected format, file name, output reference, error details and timestamps may be stored locally to show history and recover job state.
  • Preferences: settings such as reduced motion, output-folder choice and other app preferences are stored locally.
  • Temporary outputs: intermediate conversion files are held in app cache and are eligible for automatic cleanup after approximately one day. Android may also clear cache storage. Files you explicitly save elsewhere are outside the app’s control.
  • Diagnostics: if you choose to share a diagnostics report, Android’s share interface sends the basic app settings and job counts included in that report to the destination you select. File contents are not included.

Clearing history removes stored job records. It does not remove copies you previously saved outside the app. Uninstalling the app removes its private local data, subject to Android’s backup and device settings.

3. Ads and Google services

The current release does not display ads. It includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK for a possible future release. Google documents that this SDK may automatically collect and share the device IP address (which can be used to estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers. Google says it uses these data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance, and encrypts them in transit. SDK data handling may occur independently of whether an ad is visibly displayed.

The app also includes Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and present consent choices where required. If advertising is enabled in a future release, ads will be requested only when the consent state allows it. Users can review available ad privacy choices in the app when provided, and can manage their Android advertising ID in Android settings. Google’s processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and the disclosures linked from the relevant Google services.

Ads, when enabled, require an internet connection; local file conversion itself is designed to run on-device.

4. When information is shared

Fylevix does not receive or upload the contents of files selected for local conversion. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may transmit the information described above to Google even when ads are not visibly displayed. If you use Android’s share, save or open actions, information or output files are sent to the app or location you choose.

We do not sell your files or personal information. The app has no account system and no Fylevix cloud conversion service in this release.

5. Your choices and controls

  • Choose only the files you want the app to access, using Android’s system file picker.
  • Use the in-app controls to clear conversion history or choose an output location.
  • Use Settings to review available ad privacy options and Android settings to manage advertising identifiers or network access.
  • Do not share diagnostics or outputs unless you intend to send them to the selected destination.

6. Children’s privacy

Fylevix AnyConverter is a general-purpose utility and is not designed specifically for children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you have a privacy concern, contact support@skydigiaitech.com.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a new version is published. Material changes will also be reflected in the app or its official store listing where appropriate.
